Sunrise in the Desert
Anza Borrego Desert Super Bloom - as the sun began to rise, what is typically a barren landscape gave way to a sea of yellow desert sunflowers. The incredible amount of rain we received over the last few weeks created a desert wildflower bloom not seen since 2005. The entire desert was awash in brightly colored flowers in yellow, purple, blue, white and pink. In all my years living in San Diego, I've never seen the desert so beautiful!
